I have tried turning off my console, disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet, and so far I have been able to log in and play online every time. I tried all the stuff I did before, but to no avail.Įventually I tried signing out of my PSN account and signing back in. I stopped googling them after the 3rd one. Sometimes it would say 'fetching online profile', sometimes it would quickly fail and throw one of 7 or 8 error codes each with various messages about contacting support.
Later, I logged on to play with a friend, and was met with basically the same problem, except this time it would have all these other variations. On the millionth attempt, while I was googling server status for MW and PS4 servers, it just decided to finally display the little 'downloading update' window, then prompt to restart the game.Īt this point I was able to play online with no problems.
I tried all the obvious stuff, restarting the game, restarting my PS4, internet connection, trying a different connection, all that stuff. If you are experiencing this problem, or a version of it, maybe this can help.Īfter first updating to Season 2 version 1.14, I was stuck on 'connecting to online services', with no variations. Just posting this for anyone who might encounter a similar problem.
